I'm based in Los Angeles, but I travel well--especially to places that are cold and mountainous.

I was born in New Jersey to a Swiss mother and an American father. I studied photography and engineering at Dartmouth College in New Hampshire.

In my free time, I ski and rock climb.

In 2011, I won the Swiss Photo Award for Editorial Photography for my pictures of the recreated Iraqi village in Fort Irwin.

I am a member of 13 Photo in Zürich and I distribute stock through Corbis. Clients include Numero, Hurley, Good, Intersection, and Wallpaper.
